Power adaptor on Printer not working - help please?

    Hi folks, I have a HP Photosmart Printer Scanner All in one - have had it 10 yrs... the light on the power adaptor is blinking and when hooked up to the machine the screen just flashes erratically.. ekk..

    Is it worth buying a new power adaptor? I see there are some for sale on line.. from the UK - about £15

    Don't really wanna buy a new printer/scanner if its only the adaptor thats on the blink (no pun intended)
