Filling broken skirting board to hide split

    Previously our tiler had to remove some skirting and did not see a hidden screw, this is the result:

    I know some would say replace the whole skirting but with the joins at the ends it's not straight forward. One lad advised me to use a 2 part filler. I found https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ronseal-High-Performance-Wood-Filler/dp/B001GU6IW2

    I'm not sure if the white will 100% match and I don't have the paint that was used on the skirting but presumably it would be better than current!

    Any advice appreciated!
