Hey lads, I just wanted peoples thoughts on this, as I don't have experience with Argos refunds/returns. I bought a tp link router to put a SIM card in and basically it's very slow speeds, I was expecting higher but it's not getting any good speed, I opened the box obviously to use it, so the plastic wrap film on the outside is ripped.

Would I be ok to get a full refund? Or because technically I used it and the outside plastic film is ripped would I not be entitled? I only bought it today and intend to take it back to them tomorrow.

What's people's experiences with Argos in situations like this? Also what should I say? Should I say it doesn't get the speeds I thought it would and want a refund? Thanks, just wanted peoples thoughts as I never returned electronics like this with Argos

I've always found them good to deal with when returning items, should be fine to just say it doesn't do as expected. They exclude change of mind/easy refunds on items like phones, computers, video cameras etc.

Ohh good to hear thanks, I thought maybe it was the same case with routers as TVs or cameras etc but that's good to know
