HI - I am looking for the death of a James (O')Donovan - born in 1901.

Died somestage between 1940-1990 in or around Clonakilty/Drimoleague Co. Cork.

He would have been buried in Kilmeen Cemetery, Rossmore. His homeplace would have been Driminidy/Drominidy (multiple spellings).

I coudn't find anything on irishgeneology - so that makes me think he died after the 1970 cut off point - but thats just speculation.

I've searched irishnewspapers but so far no luck myself.

I had a quick look as well but didn't see anything. Do you know if he married? Did he have any siblings? I saw some death notices for O'Donovan's buried in Kilmeen Cemetery but I guess it's a very common name in the area.

Searches on irishnewspapers are stymied by a parish priest of Kilmeen called James O'Donovan.
