Caravan Parks - Buying Mobile Home Monopoly

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if anyone can give their input on purchasing mobile homes for caravan parks.

    I am being told by the owner of the site that I am on that I can only purchase from a nearby dealer.

    I have been told by some people that this is a closed agreement, and the site owner and the dealer have negotiated a pricing structure between them. Basically meaning that each mobile costs between 2k and 5k extra, with the extra being split between them. There is also a connection fee of about 2k.

    I am not sure if this is legal, or if it can be reported. It is a monopoly situation that isn't fair.

    Any input would be appreciated.
