I live in north east co Donegal and have sky internet but it’s slow and keeps dropping out several times a day. All that sky can offer is to reset the hub. Got new hub 3 weeks ago but no better.

is there any alternative such as satellite internet?

Sorry, I had typed a reply, but when I posted it it appeared twice. I went to edit the duplicate post, and the first one disappeared, leaving me with the deleted duplicate.

Anyway, I was suggesting you tried with a GoMo and/or a 48 SIM card (I use mine for tethering, I'm in a rural area but not in Donegal). You could order them and check how strong the network signal is, if you're not happy you can close your accounts, they're on a rolling monthly contract so you'd lose less than €25 if you weren't happy with the service.

As for satellite broadband, this is a link I came across quite recently - I'm sure there are others, but I didn't look too much into it at the time. https://europe.konnect.com/en-IE I wouldn't say it'd come cheap, though.

What's the mobile broadband signal like, that should be an alternative. This would involve a fixed modem in your home using the mobile broadband signal to provide WIFI access within your home.
