26 inch rim brake wheels

    Hi all

    I posted in cycling adverts a while back asking if anyone had a set of good rim-brake 26 inch wheels going spare for a touring bike build.

    No response at all so it occurred to me that I might be able to cast the net wider through this forum, given that 26 inch wheels are a predominantly MTB thing, so hope that's OK with the moderators here?

    Must be 8/9/10 speed Shimano or Shimano compatible hub, don't mind they're its disc-ready as long as the rims have a rim-brake surface, as the bike will be running cantilever brakes.

    Must be a decent set knocking around somewhere.
