i like the fact the emails are back but sometimes i can be a lot of emails.
is there an option that i will only be notified for the 1st new post and then i wont get any more notificaitons until i open the page again?

I agree. I have been getting emails, one oer reply. I had to change my setting this morning as I had 30+ emails on one parrticular thread I'm following.
