Contract free broadband

I'm looking to get hooked up to the Internet through a contract free service that I pay on a month to month basis.

I'm not sure what I should be buying or who from. Is it a dongle that I need?

Can anyone advise on a service provider and costs?

Virgin do 30 day BB service ....250mb for 60 euro, 1 month is probably as close as you'll get to contract free

Probably ...what are you used to? virgin is unlimited also no caps on use

course you're aware this is fibre BB not phone line

Excuse my ignorance but how does it connect with fibre and not phone line?

Connects through the same line as tv ...they install a box if you don't have one, the same box gives tv and BB (ONLY BB if that's what your paying for)

but you get a phone line with it if that makes any sense .....phone connects through the modem

Yep that's all diy job .......unless they need to upgrade the box, check cover availability on their site for your area before you do anything, but if you had tv off them before you should get bb no problem

So it seems I don't have fibre coming in to my house. Anyone know what other options I have to get hooked up to contract free broadband?

Otherwise your only other option may be pay as you go mobile broadband or hotspotting off a smartphone
