Is Daft still premier website for rental accommodation in Ireland

    The reason I ask is be because some cities have such a limit of options. At this moment in time Waterford only has 8 premises for rent and Limerick only has 15. This seems very very low

    That would be a reflection of the actual state of the rental market right now.

    There are some facebook sites offering accommodation. Some of them are scammers.

    Outside of Dublin, since the pandemic, the supply of rental accommodation has fallen.

    This is in part due to the influx of Dublin based people working from home and the fact that

    the smaller landlords have been leaving the market and there has been very little house or apartment building for many years

    since the 2007-2008 crash.
