Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Relaying lawn

    Hi

I bought a house recently and the garden was in a state of disrepair. I have begun clearing it (decking, rotting shed, old water feature etc..) and will be looking to keep it simple and to relay most of the garden with rolls of grass.

There are large flower bed sections which I will have to dig and pick weeks, roots and large stones out of.

For the current grass sections, can I just break that up and leave it there (level it out and compress/roll it) and relay turf over it or does that all have to be removed? Please bear in mind that the lawn doesn't need to be perfect- with three young kids there will be football, trampolines etc.. so just want easy and safe for them.
