    Hi all

I'm looking to purchase a powerlifting bar I currently have an off brand Bar was looking at the Rogue Ohio power bar any thoughts. has any one got it ? what version? whats a good alternative ? Im thinking of the stainless steel version . Whats the knurl like ? is it aggressive enough or is it too aggressive ? I've used an Ivanko power bar its lovely for max singles but too aggressive for rep work on the dead-lift as I hook grip . Thanks

The Rogue Ohio Power Bar is a fantastic choice for powerlifting, and the stainless steel version is highly regarded for its durability and grip. The knurling is aggressive, but not overly harsh, making it suitable for heavy singles and rep work, though it may feel a bit intense for high volume deadlifts with a hook grip, especially compared to the Ivanko bar you mentioned. If you're looking for alternatives with a similar quality, the Texas Power Bar is often recommended as it offers great knurling and whip balance. Overall, the Rogue bar’s stainless steel finish will provide a natural feel without needing constant maintenance.

I've been debating between the Rogue and Texas bars, so your take on the knurling and maintenance helps. Good to know the stainless steel Rogue holds up well without needing too much upkeep.
