Hi folks, fairly new to the area and looking to get involved in something to keep fit, haven’t played in years but is there any badminton or squash in the mullingar area?

Tennis and badminton club in town centre, google them to find website. Decent club, 8 tennis courts I think played all year round. Badminton typically played during the winter, 2 indoor courts. Cater for all levels and nice people. Don't think there is squash anywhere but not sure.

Anyone interested in playing badminton in mullingar over the winter? Don’t fancy rocking up on my own!

I played badminton in Mullingar a few years back. It's a small club where the members are very friendly and welcoming. Your best bet is to contact them through Facebook https://www.facebook.com/mullingar.badminton. There's always a few new faces each year that join on their own. You'll make friends quickly and they're very encouraging of new members. I know they used to run two club nights a week and you'd be guaranteed plenty of games without having to play competitively.

There was a squash club in a different part of town but that's long gone. The building was redeveloped several years back.
