Be certain it was registered in NI before January 1st this year or you will also have to pay duty and VAT.

I’m thinking of buying a 40 year old classic in NI.

I've asked the owner and he says he has had it registered in his name since 2015.

So am I correct in assuming that my only charge if I buy it is €200 VRT ? No vat or duty??
