Value of HSE Vaccination Certificate

I am due to fly to Madrid on Friday and have yet to receive my Digital Covid Certificate despite being vaccinated 5 weeks ago. Will the HSE card be acceptable as proof of vaccination in both Dublin and Madrid Airports or am I better off getting tested?

Whatever about Dublin, you might have problems in Madrid, I say this based on the recent incident in Malta we're 7 visitors presented HSE Vacination cards and we're told they were not acceptable and as a result sent to do mandatory quarantine.

I would certainly not be depending on HSE vacinate cards, letter, they are meaningless with regard to travel.

Very interesting. I had not heard of that situation. Digital Covid Cert helpline automatic answering machine states "you do not need a digital Covid cert to travel"

I'm honestly not up to date re travel and requirements but I'm pretty Sure the Covid Vacination digital cert is required to enter all European countries, the HSE documentation not accepted as a proof of Vacination.

Its right, you dont need digital cert, the paper/printed version of that cert will do
