Trying to decide if I should take a new job

I'm not happy with my employer's response to covid.

Problems are: no social distancing, crossover between shifts so alot of mixing with others from different shifts. People wearing masks anyway they want including under the nose. Management doesn't fix any issue or pull people up if they see them ignoring covid rules.

But the job pays well. I need the money and can't claim the dole if I leave.

Would you leave for another job and get less pay because you're not happy? Bearing in mind there's probably idiots in every job so not sure leaving is a solution.
