Just sold my car to a fella up north, what's the process for me? I've had a VRT export inspection so I understand I have 30 days to complete export.

I'm handing over tomorrow, so what do I need to do regarding confirmation of export? I think I just hand over the reg book to the new owner, he sends it off to DVLA in Swansea and then they will notify Shannon that export has completed, they I'll get my VRT rebate.

Is that correct? And secondly, what is the process for challenging the VRT OMSP valuation? They valued the car at €11k which is nonsense especially since I just sold it for €16k.
