Reading the Ryanair inflight magazine I see duty free being advertised and it states that it is not available on intra-EU flights.

Does this mean that duty free is now available on flights to and from the UK seeing as they now no longer in the EU due to Brexit?

Flew to UK Friday. No duty free on board. Duty free open in Dublin on departing. Duty free (and everything else closed) when arrived at departure airport tonight. Texting a friend at another UK airport, same experience for them. So no duty free on return

Duty free restored between EU and UK.Allowances are higher if going from UK to EU than EU to UK.Ryanair will have limited or no choice until travel picks up.

Flew Dublin to London and back last weekend. Duty free available in both directions in airport shops but not mentioned on board the Ryanair flights.

Beware lots of UK airport shops/restaurants closing early. I was in Edinburgh last weekend and duty free (and almost everything else) closed at 7pm. Heard similar tales from Glasgow and Stansted (think it's 8pm there).

Picked up 1L bottle of Bacardi Gold Rum and Paddy Whiskey for €13 each :) (I flew Dublin to Glasgow yesterday)

The UK has a decent spirits allowance now of 4 litres as opposed to our 1 litre.

The guy at the duty free at Dublin Airport mentioned the 4 litre allowance but I could not carry it all so went for 2!

Can you buy 4 L in Dublin flying to London and leave them in Dublin to collect on the way back?

I came back from Liverpool two weeks ago. Ryanair had no cigs or alcohol for duty free sales. Dublin Airport was selling away, but what was noticeable was the deals in Liverpool Airport. 1L of Smirnoff - 9.91 sterling. 1L of Jagermeister or the 1L JM giftpack, 14 sterling.

Dublin Duty free was poor in comparison. At the main DF shop in Dublin after security, I wanted 400 benson cigs. Displayed price 102 euro. Sorry, dont have any. Can give you 2 20 packs at 62 euro each. Thats 124 euro because they didnt have the 400 pack.

I went down to the 100 gates for Ryanair. Small duty free kiosk on the right. Have you got 400 benson? Certainly. 102 euro please.

They were also selling larger packs in Liverpool airport but I dont recall the price. There was two of us so no fear of exceeding our allowances, but on the Sunday evening, flying in from Liverpool, there was NOBODY at customs. Not a soul.
