    Hi,

Time to replace my 2009 Saab 93. Mainly for short drives (4-15km mostly) so thinking petrol, budget 14k max. Open to buying privately vs a dealer. At least with a dealer i get a warranty. Will check difference in price for trade in vs selling Saab privately. I know it's better value to sell Saab privately but depending on how much might trade in for less bother.

    Want something:

    spacious

    nice trim & interior

nice, large central screen (for radio etc.)

ideally able to fit a bike. In the Saab I take front tyre off the bike, fold back seats down and in it goes.

Currently Skoda Octavia is the front runner. I'm open to other suggestions.

I'm thinking ideally something under 110km. Is this figure about right, is 130-150km too high? A service history would be good too.

If going for the Skoda, any particular model you'd recommend? Are the 1.0 or 1.2 litres much more economical?Anything else to note?

    Thanks,

    Pa.
