Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hot water cylinder vent pipe overflow

I am in the process of replacing my cold water cistern and need advice on routing the hot water cylinder vent pipe. It currently runs up into the cold tank which is located on a flat roof. Routing to the new cold tank is more complicated and it would be much easier to let the pipe run off into a gutter at the side of the house.

As long as the pipe rises continually and the outlet is at least 450mm above the cistern water level is there any other regulation or advisory information to prevent this?
