Depends if there is a pipe nearby to T it off.... - if there's a pipe nearby (i.e. other side of the wall) it will cost little more than the price of a call-out charge and the tap itself and a good handy man will be able to do it (~€80) - if the person id very local you may well get it cheaper.

If pipes have to be run through the house etc etc then who knows, given plumbers are busy and this would be the type of small job that would prob be considered a PITA given all the other work available.

Fitting a tap to a pipe is not a big job. What matters is whether there is already a pipe at the point where you want the tap and, if not, how far away is the pipe and what obstacles have to be dealt with in laying on a supply of water to the point where you want the tap?

North Wicklow but got a tap done last year, drilled right out from sink and connected there. supply and fit was €70. it was a 20~ minute job so I'm guessing if it was anymore difficult and awkward it would have been reflected in the price.

Thank you - the pipe from the sink is going straight out back of house.
