Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

North of Fortitude are a four-piece band from Ireland's Mid-West. We officially formed in 2019, however, most of us have played together in different groups and on a more casual basis over the last 5-10 years.

Lead vocalist, piano and keyboard and all around synth maestro Ronan Murphy is primarily influenced by electronic and dance music, while Rick O'Sullivan, guitarist and backing vocalist, grew up on the alternative rock of the 1990s as well as classic rock and hip hop. Multi-instrumentalist and drummer for NoF, Peter Lynch, is no stranger to the rock and metal music scene in Ireland and Canada and has probably gigged in some of the places as Bassist and backing vocalist Darragh Jennings who is also no stranger to the metal scene, especially in Limerick.

The eclectic fusion of these different tastes always leads to interesting discussions during the writing process and we think it helps give us a somewhat unique sound in an otherwise crowded field.

Our new self-titled EP has just been released and you can find it on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and more and we have a social media presence on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
