Covered spots would be better just in case of rain.
Murty Rabbites has a retractable roof

Blue Note was good last weekend. Seemed to be allowing bookings but we walked in at 4 and got a table until 8pm. Decent beer on draught.

Though I'll give Neachtains a skip. 6 lads meeting up in early 40s and they turn into ass holes when that happens saying too many lads or something ....
Yeah Neachtains are catering mostly for small groups (2-3).
I am thinking of visiting PJs in Lower Salthill.
Is it open?
I presume there is a small outdoor area, inside the side gate?
I welcome any comments.
Yeah PJs have an excellent setup at the side. There was some issue with the council over it but I think it's still in place.
Pj's currently closed due to close contact, closed last Monday or Sunday no idea when it's back
I might go to Woodquay as an alternative.
Do I need to book in advance for McGinns or Hughes?
I am willing to sit outside, even in poor weather.
Just drove past pj's, has reopened, yes you'd need to book mcginns don't know about hughes
