Emergency dentist

We are in Mayo and desperate to find a dentist able to perform an emergency tooth extraction.

Have spent hours searching and calling but unable to get an appointment. Best we have had so far is for in five weeks time. What use is that?

The dental practices have fabulous web sites promising so much...until you contact them.

Surely we are not alone and by now there should be a national, live register of appointment availability? Online, where one could book an appointment just as you would an airplane, hotel or other reservation.

In this connected age, is this too much to ask for?
