Door swings open on own weight

I have a door that once it's open 90degrees will swing on it's own weight, banging into whatever is behind it.

It all started last year when my wife sprayed the hinges with wd40.

Any idea how I can remedy this? Is the issue with how the door is hung?

No idea what happened there. I posted a comment re fixing the door and it double posted. I then deleted the 2nd post and the lot went...ffs!

Either the door frame is out of plumb or the door has been hung with the hinges too far

into the frame or too far out. Stick a level onto the hinges and frame to see which one it is.

Are they rising butt hinges by any chance?

(I don't know what happened there, can't grasp this new site)

Utube shows solution as tapping out the pin from centre of one or two hinges, giving the pin a slight bend and reinserting.

Or just smear superglue along the hinge, it will last for ages.

So thats binding up the free movement of the hinge. I suppose it would work😀
