    Hi there,
So I got some work done in my house recently (6 weeks ago).. The tradesman left his car overnight on my driveway and said he thought the head gasket had gone... However my problem is 6 weeks later and the car is still there. The guy is not answering my messages asking him what his plans for it are.. I'd think the repair job is more than the car is worth and 6 weeks later I think I've been more than patient..
As I don't own the car I presume I can't touch it but as its on my property do I have any rights in terms of getting it removed etc... Any thoughts or recommendations gratefully received..

Edit.. Car is not taxed, is insured.. I'm in a small estate, not taken over by council.
Would be too dangerous to leave on closest public road

Do you anyone recovery trucks that could just leave it on the road? It will be the councils problem then.

Just drag it out, leave parked out on the road.

    Lift and shift.

Stick it on skids and move it off the drive and onto public parking

Give the Guards a shout and explain the suitation (causing an obstruction ... needs to be lifted for no tax). Wouldn't get into the status of the estate. Try and move it out on to the road in the estate. The Guards lifted a car in my estate that had no tax. Was gone in a day or so.

Id get a friend to ring for a quote for whatever he does.
When he calls to see the job,, you can meet him them.
Otherwise id pull the car out onto the road.

Did he finish the job he was doing for you and did you pay him ?
