Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Outdoor dining in Castlebar

Hi folks, Seems to be a recurring question here for the various towns, so maybe a general Outdoor Dining in Mayo thread might have made sense!

Does anyone know of any restaurants or bars that are offering outdoor dining / drinking in Castlebar at the moment? I'd ideally like to avoid hotel bars and restaurants if possible!

    Thanks in advance.

Hogs Heaven, Coxs and The Connaught Inn afaik.

I haven't been to The Connaught Inn yet.
Hogs is grand, nice setup but you're in a car park at the end of the day.
Cox's is in the old smoking area, it's a lot more sheltered from the elements than Hogs.

All in all, we're not blessed with great options.
