I'm in the market for a small used car, not really interested in a "drivers/ performance" car, just something comfortable, dependable, low mileage, decent enough modern spec , 171 reg onwards. My driving is a mix of urban & country, but mostly country. Have considered Ford Fiesta & VW Polo, but both pricey for 181 + models. Any other brands/ model si should be considering? Thanks

    Renault Clio are great value.

As mentioned on another thread, a Dacia Sandero new makes loss of sense. The outgoing model held crazy high residual prices too - so buying new makes more sense.

Another vote for the Clio, great, comfortable cars that do most things really well, a 181 will still have plenty of warranty on it too.
