Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Partial Capacity Benefit Questions

I'm in receipt of invalidity pension and am considering trying to return to part time work. To do so I need to transfer to Partial Capacity Benefit. I just have 2 things worrying me. Firstly my conditions are life long, and although relatively under control at the moment, the possibility of flare up is always there. I read I can transfer back to invalidity if this happens. I just want to confirm that that stands indefinitely ie there's not a time limit. It was so hard to get awarded invalidity in the first place that the thoughts of having to reapply again down the line scares me.

Secondly, in regards to the state pension. I know if you're on invalidity you transfer to contributory pension at pension age. What's the story with partial capacity? Would I be okay on contributions only working maybe 10 or 15 hours a week? I've been out of work about 5 years already so worried about having enough time to get enough contributions together.
