i.looked everywhere and was suprised to see nothing on this

But few weeks ago roughly 1000 unmarked graves were uncovered at former catholic church run residential school grounds, believed to be of indigenous kids forcibly removed from their families (went on until 1990s)

This has lead to a spate (7) of catholic churchs burnt in protest on indigenous land and last friday on canada the statues of queen victoria and queen elizabeth were torn down in protests in the city winnipeg....

Will these bodies be identified and families compensated and what can irish government learn as regards similar mass graves discovered here in likes of tuam

The Irish government doesn’t need to learn anything.

Don’t lock up priests who covered up child abuse and don’t bother doing anything about anything and just let the problem literally die off.

That’s justice from FFFG, they don’t want people remembering how closely they were tied in with the paedos and their criminality.

I saw Farage comment on this. He really with no sense of awareness wrote how it was a disgrace that they had no respect for the monarchy. Why would Canada have any respect for the monarchy? I feel Canada always tried to make itself seem goody goody in comparison to the states (or at least the likes of Michael Moore eulogised about it in his documentaries) but this just shows all nations have their skeletons

Thread started on it about a month ago, didn't gain much traction I suppose.

I think there is a thread about it I must search. Say it maybe a bit late on the compensation front. Also I do hope we do not have the violence that you mentioned
