This is a random thread, but I've noticed a number of small flags depicting the 4 provinces on roads over the past few months, all major national primary/secondary junctions or in town centres. Does anyone know what these are about? There's one in Ballina coming in from the Enniscrone Road, at the N5…

This is a random thread, but I've noticed a number of small flags depicting the 4 provinces on roads over the past few months, all major national primary/secondary junctions or in town centres. Does anyone know what these are about? There's one in Ballina coming in from the Enniscrone Road, at the N5 Ballaghaderreen/Gurteen junction, on the Westport side of Strokestown, near the cathedral area of Cavan Town, the square in Roscommon Town etc etc. The photo attached is in Athlone.
