Hey,
Can anyone tell me what going on here under the strap boss. What the white section at the bottom.

I need to try get another boss on at the level of the green arrow or lower.

Thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks

it looks to me that that is a 4" Straight coupler onto a pipe coming out of the ground. you will not be able to connect to this. your Options depend on how deep this sewer pipe is. you might be able to dig down around the pipe remove this fitting and replace it with a Double collar 4"x 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 depending on what it is being use to take the waste water from. A trick to help when are doing this is to cut the downpipe 2-3" above the strap-on connection and use a straight through repair collar (it has no inner ridge of plastic or no lugs, though lugs can be filed off) Grease up the downpipe and tap this fitting up onto it. Line the pipes up then tap the fitting down so it reconnects the pipe, if you get what I mean. I hope this helps
