What are these areas in Ferrybank like? Safe?

    Hi I'm not very familiar with Waterford but am moving there for my job. I've been looking at areas to live and a few places have come up in Ferrybank whose name pops up in the local news for various crimes but then it does seems to be a big section of the city with multiple estates. Any ideas about what the estates are like down there - like Blackthorn Hills and Mount Sion? Or any other estate? Howsafe is the area in general?

    Would be very safe. Upmarket estate across the road from the golf club.
