Brown snout in hifers

    have heifer with sore looking spots all over the mouth and nose 5th day today,she dosent seem to troubled with it but if we are to get all this sunshine they predict? any advice or will i cal vet.?

    Might be the start of photosensitive, caused by eating something like ragwort or St. John's wort.
    If so put in out of the sun or in a very shaded paddock.

    Found sudocream good on badly effected areas.
    Like anything vet is the best place for advice rather than random stranger on the Internet
