eir blocking ports to cPanel Webmail? (2096)

    Here's a weird one....
Using a DrayTek router with Dual-WAN (Virgin & eir).

When eir WAN is plugged in, when I go to a cPanel Webmail for a friend (Port 2096) I get to the login, enter credentials, log-in and the page just refreshes as if i've just re-loaded.

    Remove eir WAN, no problem.

    I've never seen this before.

I know I can create a route policy but wondering of anyone has ever come across this. I'm guessing it's not an eir issue as if it were, the page wouldn't even load as you're already accessing via that port.

Could it be possible that the host is blocking log-ins from eir's IP range? (Friend has a static IP).
