Not run gas boiler for a while with this good weather but this afternoon had my hand on top of rad in the kitchen and it was hot and checked switch timer and is set on off??

One other thing to mention i have Solar panels on roof to heat water in immersion . This is the first time i felt rad warm and wondered does something need to be checked. Cheers.

It’s possible your solar setup is dissipating heat into your heating system to prevent over heating issues with the solar/cylinder

In all the 15 years its been up there it never happened but see your point as cousin left her immersion on and steam nearly came out of the hot tap and the toilet was doing a hot flush .Cheers.

Turn off your gas boiler to prove its not gas boiler related.

Then if you still have heat in your rads you will have to determine why is heat in your cylinder creeping out to your rad,

The switch in kitchen is off but do remember it does a cycle to keep water moving and keeps pump free.

With the boiler off the only heat source is your cylinder.
