Building Blocks Quality

What is being done to ensure that building blocks currently being used don't have excessive amounts of impurities (pyrite, mica, ect) or anything else that would result in structural defects?

Regulations were in place at the time the building blocks used in the Donegal houses were used but there didn't seem to be anyone checking.

There never was a serious policy of regulation enforcement at all in Ireland.

I have seen some seriously scary stuff at play on sites, and when I flagged them up,

it was not long before I was history...

To ensure ? In reality, on the ground, absolutely nothing.
Nothing has changed. No lessons learned.
Politicians have had a long cosy history with the Irish construction industry.
