Cycliq 12 / Garmin Edge 520 Duo Mount Options

Hi. I’m looking for advice on a decent out front Duo Mount option to take my Garmin Edge 520 and new Cycliq Fly 12 camera.

The cycliq duo mount is a) unavailable and b) ridiculously overpriced @ €70

I have the Garmin out front mount but no adaptors to place cycliq fly 12 underneath.

Any advice greatly appreciated on a viable alternative option if it exists?

    Thanks, TT

An adaptor (see below link) came with my Fly12 which I tried on the underside of a Garmin mount. It was a complete PITA. The camera is simply too heavy for it.
Taking it off and putting back on weakens the plastic screw holder.

My advice is to use the standard mount on the top side of the bars. Much more stable and less vibration/shake.

Likewise I broke 2 combo mounts due to the sheer weight of the unit so I gave up and bought a bar mount solely for the camera on eBray or one of those for a fiver. Not a problem since and tidy enough

Mine broke at the hinge after a couple of years, so I wouldn't spend the money.

I was using a separate ebay holder, but just got an outfront dual holder that screws into stem bolts at the front. It got around a 100km of shocking Wicklow roads at the weekend anyway!

I have the K-edge mount and find it great, removed almost all of the vibration which was present in cheaper versions. Cost/stock might be problems though!

    FYI…

I got onto K-Edge and they suggested this is what I need…Garmin MAX Combo mount here: https://k-edge.com/shop/computer-mounts/garmin-mounts/garmin-max-combo-mount/

Going to take a chance and hope they are right!

Will post here again once I’ve got a result 😬

I reckon it is a good mount.
However, the part for holding your camera that screws onto that mount is weak and won't last a wet weekend. It will shake (minor issue) but the main problem is that when you are clipping the camera in and out, the twisting action weakens the plastic. I had one break the first or second time I took the camera out.

The K-edge mounts are nice but expensive.

A lot of people are talking about the plastic mount breaking but FYI I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GBS3QMM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    and
    this
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08R7RPX2B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and with both of them the go-pro mount part underneath is aluminium and not plastic.
