Is there much merit in getting into Valais Black Nose sheep? Any advice where to buy ewes and what is the best approach with ram if only starting with small numbers, say between 6-10?

Have deep pockets!! in my opinion they are a fad breed as they have no real commercial value.

Ah they have their place, I think it's in the Swiss alps.

Other than that they're a pyramid scheme, you could do well or get badly burned with them.

Thanks very much, probably steer clear of them
