Share Transfers - Sending certs to UK Registrar

Not exactly the right forum but hopefully someone else has had this issue and sorted it..

I'm dealing with an Estate with certificated UK Shareholdings. I'm looking to send the certs to the registrar, but they are valuable documents if lost and I'm trying to find a cost effective way of sending and insuring them from
Ireland. An Post don't seem to offer an insurance option for documents - what has anyone done?
