Calls to my mobile coming through on my landline

I have an Eir landline and a Vodafone pay as you go mobile.

I have found advice on the web on cases where calls to landline come through on the mobile, but my case is the opposite.

Callers to my mobile are coming through on my landline. They are not showing as calls on my mobile screen, and if I do not pick up the landline there is no missed call showing on my mobile.

This is becoming a real pest. Any advice appreciated please.

Call divert was probably set up at one point on your mobile.

There will be an option (probably buried in the menus) to "cancel all diverts"

There may also be a short code (something like * #100#) you can dial to do the same thing.

Are you sure people aren't just calling your landline?

No I have asked people, and they are definitely calling my mobile.

I will try another dig down into my settings and if that does not work I may have to contact the companies.

If call divert has for whatever reason (in error or whatever) has been set up on your mobile number calls to that number will be diverted to a nominated number, in this case, your landline number, presumably, there are various reasons for setting up diverts, busy, unavailable, out of coverage etc, same principle applies to voice mail diverts , check your call settings or call your provider to check and deactivate, also keep in mind, some networks may charge for this service. It is not relevant if you have a different landline and mobile provider, it's simply a settings issue.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

Dial ##21# on your mobile, should solve it.

This. But it could also knock off voicemail if you have it turned on. If any doubt give Vodafone a ring and tell them you want to check what call forwarding you have set up.

USSD codes for various functions for mobile services...

    Check divert status by dialling...
    *#21#

Some other divert USSD codes (from link above, paste into a word file to simplify formatting)....
    ##002#	Cancel all call diversions
**004*Phone Number#	Set all configured diversions to number
##004#	Unregister all configured call diversions
    *21#	Activate 'divert all calls'
    #21#	Deactivate 'divert all calls'
    ##21#	Unregister 'divert all calls'
*#21#	Check status of 'divert all calls'
**61*Phone Number#	Register and activate 'divert on no answer' to Phone No.
*61#	Activate 'divert on no answer'
#61#	Deactivate 'divert on no answer'
##61#	Unregister 'divert on no answer'
*#61#	Check status of 'divert on no answer'
**62*Phone number#	Register and activate 'divert on not reachable'
*62#	Activate 'divert on not reachable'
#62#	Deactivate 'divert on not reachable'
##62#	Unregister 'divert on not reachable'
*#62#	Check status of 'divert on not reachable'
**67*Phone Number#	Register and activate 'divert on busy'
    *67#	Activate 'divert on busy'

I have tried #21# but it has not worked.

Also, when I "dial" tha number I get back a "request not completed" message.

It looks like I will have to contact Vodafone.

Not sure if it’s just a typo in your post but it should be two hashes

    ##21#

There should also be options in settings of dialler app to check, set and cancel call forwarding and diversion.
