Front wing replacement

    Hey,

    Just wondering if I could get some reaction on a quote I received from a body shop.
    I drove into a pole in a car park and crumpled the front wing of my 08 Avensis.
    To replace the wheel arch lining and the new wing + paint + labour, I have been quoted €700.
    Is it worth getting another quote elsewhere? or is that the general ballpark?

    Is it something worth taking on myself?

    If you can get a scrap wing the same colour would work out alot cheaper for you

    Totally worth taking on. As above, get a matching one in a scrapyard.€700 is a fair chunk of the cars value.
