    Hello,

    Anyone here organic farming?

Am interested in how ye manage things like
    - worms (More so in lambs)
    - fluke
    - Flies and avoiding fly strike

As always, there is a lot of info on google. But would prefer to hear from someone who is actually walking the walk...

    Thanks...

I'm getting there in terms of stock being on natural forage(commange grazing mainly) and little or no issues with worm burdens in recent years. The latter I put down to grazing lambs and hoggets on the herbal lay I put in 2 years ago on the home place. This year I will b finishing stock on wholecrop oats mainly so it will be interesting to see how that turns out. As for flystike I've started using garlic sheep licks and so far so good, though the weather has been signicantly cooler and wetter in North Mayo this summer so far compared to last year or what the East of the country has had so far this June.
