    Hi guys
I'm wondering if anyone can give me any feedback on the Tramyard apartments in Inchicore?

I've looked through some threads here but they're all really old, so any updated info would be great.

What's the area like to live in? Do the apartments feel secure? Is there still a security guard on site?
Is it smelly from the river when it's a warm day?

Anything you got guys, I'd love to hear it.

    Thanks!

I was thinking about renting there last year and said it to a friend who is a garda in Kilmainham. Told me to avoid at all costs, terrible anti social behaviour problems with the local youths on either the walk to Emmet Road for shops & buses or the other side up Vincent Street to the Luas stop. Take a stroll around one evening (as I did) and see for yourself. Pity as its an ideal location otherwise.

    I would avoid.
    Heard it's pretty rough

Right next to a block of council flats. Noooo thank you.

Ah, damn. This is what I was hoping to avoid, haha!
I'm okay with council houses being around, I don't mind it at all, but if they're going to be really troublesome, I would rather avoid that.

I guess I don't mind if the apartment block itself is safe, in the sense that it's manned by security, and people can't just access the building?

I've a friend who live opposite. Realistically the area is pretty rough and you'll get quite a bit of low level anti-social behaviour. Other than that it's okay. You'll also have one or two 'escorts' working out of the place, they'll have security but I doubt the block does.

Ive heard similar from a friend who lived there until recently, there is a few brothels operating out of the development and its been going on years. Which says a lot about how the management company run it if the problem has never been dealt with.
