    Hi,

I know this has been asked before but ideally looking for recommendations or feedback on the below (all very salesey and I don't really know if we need the more expensive one even if it is better).

Option one is euro water softener priced at 750 and they're including a drinking water system (which we don't really need so it's making me question how good the water softener is as surely there's a decent cost in this other system:

    Premier Water Softener

The all-new Premier Water Softener guarantees 100% limescale free water 24/7 with its dual system operation and consumes over 65% less salt and water than alternative softeners! The newly launched Premier has been designed based on Irish water specifications and has been considered to perform far greater than industry-standard softeners, according to industry experts.

The new Premier contains the latest 2020 technology, enabling it to be the most compact dual-system softener available, as well as using ultra-fine grain resin to allow your home to benefit from the finest filtration. Furthermore, any plastic internal components that you would typically find on conventional softeners have been upgraded with ceramic materials for enhanced durability and efficiency.

(hate the vague- 65% less salt than 'other' systems etc. I had them booked but someone recommended renewell water.

Option 2- renewal water.Torren Water Softener - details on attached pdf.

You'll find in the main the differences between this and cheaper softeners elsewhere:

Quality of Manufacture - expected life of a Torren is 30-40 years.
They are hand assembled in Spain and built in the US - they are part of the Kinetico water brand and built to the same standards as Hague water softeners.

They will use a lot less salt in general usage - vs some models as high as 50% less

They are hydraulic and don't need electricity.

Cost is 1200 and 200 if we need an extra unit fitted. Way more pricey but perhaps a superior system

Anyone have any direct knowledge of these systems/companies?

In mid Louth- water moderately hard. We get water from my parents well for drinking so add on in the first isn't needed. It's more for dry skin (youngest has eczema), hair going green
