    What kind of weed is this please?

    It's taken over my front lawn over the past few weeks.I'm not keen on the look of it.
    Are there any environmentally friendly ways to discourage it?
    Granted, it pulls out of the ground rather easily, but I have a lot of it.

    Its Black Medic. Black because the seeds are black. Pull up as much as you can while the yellow flowers are on it, before it sets seed.
