St. Brendan's AC Banna 5K & 10K road race

    The annual Banna 5K and 10K road race returns this year, it will take place on Sunday August 8th. This is an AAI permitted event that is run by St. Brendan's AC.

    For anyone unfamiliar with the race or the area Banna Beach is located 5K approx from Ardfert village in Co. Kerry, around 10/12K north-west of Tralee.

    The race takes place on the roads that run in the vicinity of the beach with the 10K route passing through Ardfert on a looped course. The 5K route is an out and back type course with one 180 degree turn. The courses are flat and fast.

    Details are still being finalized so entry has not opened yet but places will be limited in line with covid regulations and expected to go fast.
