new job as safety officer

    Hi bordsies.

    So been looking for a pay review for some time, and conversation came up of a position opening in company as a Safety Officer.

    My background is machine operator 30+ years.

    Anyone maybe made a move like this?
    Where would I find information on it?
    IE extra liability on me should accident occur?
    If anyone has done it would they recommend it to someone else.
