home based summer provision

Hi. My son has quilified for home based summer provision, he is in 6th class. We have to source a teacher ourselves. The school is trying to find someone but they are not having much luck.

Any ideas how i can find a teacher, would the departmant have a list or should i just ring local schools and leave my details and see if any of there teachers are looking for summer work.

Thank you. Cant understand why the school didnt pass these links on to me.

Hi, I also wanted to ask how I find an SNA for this (thank you) , but also want to know what this scheme entails. I applied for it because it was recommended by school and my son was allocated some hours. But I don't really know how it works and am finding it hard to find that information. Can I ask the SNA to bring him to a summer camp? Does that depend on the SNA, or does their work have to happen in the home?
