13 week Dating Scan

I had my scan (public - Limerick Maternity), it was quick, no information and I left wondering did they check everything was OK with the baby. Does anyone know what do they actually check for during the first scan, Would they tell you/call someone if something didn't look right

Yes they'd tell you if there was anything wrong, they check that it's the right size for the dates, that it has all limbs, spine, head/head size, heart rate, how the sac and uterus is looking, if baby is moving normally etc.
